    Gunmetal Grey

The product allows you to cut it to size without breaking or difficulty. Very happy with this product.I have just a few tips for those brave enough to give these a shot:I have done a ton of projects in the past, worked construction in high school, and done many tile jobs. That said, this turned out pretty good, but I chose it because I thought it would be easier. What I didn’t expect was that it would be hard to set them in place without gaps (though I did read a review stating that, I was still hopeful). I made the mistake of setting them on a white substrate…so, you can see any tiny gaps. I will go back and use unsanded grout to hide those spots and it’ll likely turn out as good as any traditional tile job with a whole lot less mess (ie- no wet saw, no mortar, very little cleanup). I have just a few tips for those brave enough to give these a shot:

Leave the protective film on when cutting.

Use a sharp utility knife on a scrap board with a straight edge clamped onto your cut line.
Leave the protective film on when cutting.

Use a sharp utility knife on a scrap board with a straight edge clamped onto your cut line.

If your cut will result in small pieces, cut inward rather than dragging the small end piece off the tile mat. It will occasionally take the tile and rip it from the foam sticky back, meaning you’ll have to cut a new one or glue the separate piece on.

Set the tiles with a tight gap before setting it completely. Once it’s stuck, it’s stuck. You won’t get it back off without damaging the substrate or the tile mat.
